Last week, Students For Recovery participated in the 40 Hours for the Forty Acres fundraiser, where student organizations raised money for a university department! We were excited for the opportunity to raise funds for a place near and dear to our hearts: The Center for Students in Recovery. CSR runs almost entirely (93%) on private donations. CSR has absolutely NO barrier to entry, NO minimum sobriety requirement, NO requirement to follow any certain recovery program, and there are absolutely no dues or fees for the people they help. Thank you all for participating, and thank you for supporting collegiate recovery at UT-Austin!
