Women in Psychology

Women in Psychology is built on the principles of career exploration in psychology and related fields, connection with motivated individuals, and discovery of UT resources. All degrees and genders are welcome, with ongoing membership enrollment throughout the semester. Come check us out!

Women in Psychology strives to:

• Create a social and friendly community that supports and encourages the professional development and advancement of students in psychology.
• Help students learn about the diverse professional options in psychology and help them in preparation for graduate school by inviting speakers from the psychology community including professors, graduate students, and other professionals.
• Create networks between members and professionals at the university and in the community
• Offer opportunities to interact with each other and the community through volunteer activities and socials
• Promote discussion of relevant professional and academic topics
• Provide assistance in the discovery of research opportunities and positions in research labs

Through the following activities: graduate student panels, study buddies, volunteer activities, advice on classes, social events, and group discussion.
